Todd and his team run a great shop. They really know their stuff. I came in for installation of a stubborn aftermarket front pipe for the exhaust. Quickly found the issue was a factory weld-nut. Also identified the aftermarket part was not a perfect fit and was able to bore out the front flange to make it fit. No leaks and the car runs great. Fair prices and solid recommendations make this a go-to shop.

I brought my MX-5 here for a muffler swap and came away very happy with the quality of the service I received. They fit me in right away and found the perfect muffler for what I was looking for. I was recommended this shop by a friend and I couldn't be happier with my service. Todd was so kind and helpful, i didn't feel taken advantage of like most shops. I didn't trust a lot of shops since i've had so many bad experiences with mechanics. Being told the opposite of what i needed, and charging me more then they should, but Todd has changed my view on that. The team treats you like a human and they give you the best deal possible.

These guys are the best! The owner Todd took care of us from start to finish. We didn't know exactly what was wrong with our car, an older Volvo, and were afraid the cost might end up being more than the car was worth! Todd and his crew were super professional and know exactly what they are doing and do it quickly and with care. They diagnosed the issue, got the part delivered and fixed up the car by the next day. I would like to thank Todd and his team for the awesome work they did on my 1999 Chevy Tahoe. They have decades of experience. I had a custom true dual exhaust system installed to meet my needs. Since noise is a major factor due to my TBI they had put on multiple mufflers on until I was satisfied with the the noise level I was comfortable with. Their professionalism shows. The ingenuity and craftsmanship to make this is happen is a total win! Cost was on point too. Very affordable. Will recommend to all.

Todd the owner is a very reasonable stand up guy. He has some very talented mechanics and thusly the shop is very popular.

They can do an array of assignments that will be substantially lesser than the dealerships. I mean they have made catalytic converter for me and also installed it for all for 1000. I can actually stand by thier work more then the any dealership i have been to in San Diego. The fixes they have made to my vehicles have stood the test of time and have never been back twice for the same thing.

We had our catalytic converter stolen . We got 3 estimates and Budget Muffler was lowest. Abraham was very helpful , friendly and car got finished within a few hours as promised. Found out car also needed oxygen sensor which Abraham was able to get us a good price on also. I feel this is a honest shop that does quality work.

I really like these guys. They do good work, they don't suggest unnecessary things or try to "upsell" you on anything, and competitive prices. I trust them and they have good prices - that's my definition of a good mechanic.

I do understand the times during covid so things will take a little longer , but they do good work and see theyre honest. Im sure they get all the questions about modifying exhaust but they really do clean work ive been to a few places i think anything i cant do myself i bring here , only had good stuff

I went to budget muffler and brakes today to get an alignment after getting tires at Noah's. These are great guys running this place very thorough and professional I had to wait a little while but the alignment was an expensive and I really appreciate their service I will be back.

I just got my leveling kit done and needed a alignment and thanks to Abraham he was able to get me in very fast . They were a little busy and always give me great advice on what needs work on my truck . They carry a lot more options like exhaust tips and new shocks which I like because I can always rely on a shop like this . It was unbelievably fast and reliable. Ask for Mike. My emissions exhaust system needed to get fixed in a time crunch and Budget Muffler never gave up to help.

I had scheduled some work at a different muffler shop and unfortunately it didn't work out. I call Budget to see if they can help me out and they schedule me for the same day about an hour after my call. I was in and out in less than 45min. Very happy with the Customer Service provided!

These guys are really great. They lowered my dodge truck and did a great job. And a very reasonably price. Then I took my f150 and they installed a after market bumper and did a great job. If you have any aftermarket products you want to put on your vehicle, that you buy yourself they will install it. I will keep going bAck.

Jose did great semi-fabrication re-work on a short piece of exhaust pipe for a motorcycle that I had installed new mufflers on, to align both sides correctly, and welded the stainless steel collar adapters from the mufflers to the pipe. He has more skills than he thinks. I would like to use him to help me restore my 57 chevy soon (-: He understood the alignment issue, came up with a solution, all the time explaining to me what he was going to do. He even painted the new exhaust pipe section after installing. Everyone at this place is very friendly, including Abraham in the front office who says "gimme the money", lol. Acceptamos credito, dinero de "greenbacks", etc. (-: The price was very competitive, and the work was very good. Recommended.

I have been a customer 25+ years. Mike & his crew do excellent work at fair prices. I saw him and Abraham being honest with customers, telling them what was wrong and what it would take to fix. No upselling, just honest and that is a rarity. I will keep coming back for my repairs and they will be right there.

Don't let the location or overall appearance of this place fool you. If you car is no longer under warranty, this is the place you should have all maintenance performed at. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, their prices are reasonable, they will provide you a list of recommended repairs before you leave, along with how soon you should have them done and their approximate cost. These guys have been here for decades and decades, and most importantly? This is a company you can trust.

I took a section of exhaust to them to be shortened after another welder got the measurement wrong. They got the units confused and used mm instead of cm, but after I rechecked the measurement they quickly fixed the issue, and were cool about it. I'd come back here.

Had to get the rear brakes on my silverado fixed so i took the truck to budget and they took good care of me. They Informed me about multiple things i needed done but didnt push replacing anything, the staff and owner treated me great and took very good care of my truck. Definitely my mechanic till i get new orders.

Guys are pretty respectful and cool. Came in for alignment and ended up buying schocks from them. They do a inspection and told me I had original shocks and my odometer is at 170k ouch. They quoted me $350 for Monroe including installation. Can't go wrong I here.

I've been to this shop twice and received the great customer service on both occasions. Mike and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. I first took my 2000 Honda Civic due to an exhaust pipe rotted out. It was producing a bad noise and it was leaking a lot. I got it welded up in about 30mins and I was on my way. The second time I went because I wanted a nice throaty sound for my 2007 F-150 and Mike suggested to go with a Magnaflow. Is been now over 6 months and my exhaust still going strong! Apart from exhaust services they also do brakes, suspension, wheel balancing, Oil Changes, Tune Ups and some minor engine work. I have already recommended a person over to their shop and I am positive she received the highest customer service they provide here. I also saw they install K&N Intakes... I might just order one for my F-150 and take it there haha

I wish ALL Auto repair could be like this place. Best price for anything that you need and super helpful with explaining what's wrong with you car and what need to be done. I used to go to Firestone for everything but not anymore. This place and everyone who works in it is AMAZING!

These guys are great! Honest and straight forward. Quick service, even when all the bays are full when you show up. I've taken my car here for basics (oil change, spark plugs, etc.) to the craziness of my most recent visit (bad ignition coil, rear bearing, rear shocks, rear tires, front shocks)

Great place. Very friendly and professional staff. I needed to have work done to my muffler and also asked if they could take a look at my serpentine belt that has been making noises (I have had 3 other shops take a look at the belt to see if they could get it to stop squealing with no luck). They where able to take me right them and there and fix my muffler as well as fix my belt. Great shop with fast clean service and competitive pricing.
